Mazzer Mini Electronic

The Mazzer Mini Electronic used to be our best seller around ten years ago. However it is starting to look a little dated compared to newer models with faster grinding and easier adjustment such as the Profitec Pro T64.

The Mazzer Mini Electronic is based on the Mazzer Mini manual. The electronic version has dispensed with the dosing chamber in favour of a doserless “funnel”. There is the facility to dial in the dose for a single and a double dose and also a manual button for “topping up”. After the grinder is “dialled in” it will grind enough coffee for a single or double dose with the touch of one button on top of the chute chamber (Type A) or using the portafilter to depress a button below the chute (Type B).

The other main difference to the manual is that the grinding burrs are bigger – 64mm rather than 58mm. The bigger the blades the better, but 58mm isn’t “small” by domestic standards.
