Commercial chargrills for restaurants, steakhouses, pub kitchens and food trucks — gas-fired benchtop chargrills and floor-standing commercial char grills in single, double and triple-burner configurations from GasMAX, Fagor, Cookrite and other commercial brands. For the full cooking equipment range, browse commercial cooking equipment. If you need a flat cooking surface rather than open bars, see our commercial griddles range. Showroom available in Granville, Sydney — 55 models in stock.
Popular picks include the GasMAX Benchtop 2-Burner Chargrill (JUS-TRH60E) for café and small-restaurant use, and the Fagor Kore 900 Series Chargrill (BG9051) for high-volume steakhouse or pub kitchen throughput.
Gas chargrills deliver the authentic char-flame flavour and fast recovery time preferred in steakhouses and pub kitchens — requires a gas connection and licensed gasfitter. Electric chargrills are easier to install (standard 3-phase) and suit venues without gas. Gas is the dominant format in the Australian commercial kitchen.
Benchtop chargrills fit on a countertop and suit lower-volume kitchens or secondary cooking stations. Floor-standing units are free-standing, designed for high-throughput cooking lines and include a larger grilling surface. Check the grid dimensions (mm) and BTU/kW output against your menu volume.
Burn off residue on high heat for 10–15 minutes, then brush the grates with a steel wire grill brush while hot. Remove grease trays daily — clogged trays are a fire risk. For burner maintenance, contact a qualified gasfitter or refer to the manufacturer service manual.
Yes — fast dispatch to all states. Benchtop units ship standard freight; floor-standing units ship palletised with 2-person delivery for commercial kitchen installs. Sydney customers can also visit our Granville showroom.
