The Modular Systems HB1200-750 combines a ductless commercial range hood with an integrated 304 stainless-steel workbench — a single-piece solution for kitchens that need benchtop cooking extraction without cutting through the ceiling for a duct. Built for sites running 3–4 benchtop appliances (induction cookers, griddles, deep fryers, woks) with a combined load of up to 8 kW, the HB1200-750 is a clean fit for ghost kitchens, food trucks, small cafés, pop-ups, and any venue where full ducted extraction isn't practical.
Why operators choose the HB1200-750
- Ductless extraction — no roof penetration or ducting work required; install anywhere a power outlet reaches
- Handles up to 8 kW of cooking load — 3–4 benchtop appliances including 3-phase units
- Three-stage filtration — standard removable filters + polyester filter (change every 8–12 weeks) + carbon filter (change every 12 months)
- 304 stainless steel construction — food-safe, easy to clean, built for commercial service
- Integrated LED lighting — even work-surface illumination while cooking
- Heavy-duty legs — sturdy platform for continuous commercial use

Venue suitability
Purpose-built for sites where ducted extraction isn't available or practical: leased ghost-kitchen pods, mobile food trucks, pop-up catering kitchens, small café corners, school canteens, and secondary prep benches inside larger venues. The ductless design means you keep the cooking envelope tight without negotiating building ductwork.
Installation notes
The hood draws 240 V on a standard 10 A circuit. Appliances sitting on the workbench are plumbed/powered separately based on their own requirements (including 3-phase if used). No ducting, no roofline work — the unit arrives ready to position and plug in. Clearance requirements and filter replacement scheduling should be reviewed with our team for your specific cooking load.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Do I need to install ducting for the HB1200-750? A: No. This is a ductless system — internal carbon and polyester filters capture grease and odours, and the filtered air recirculates. It's designed for sites where external ducting isn't possible (leased spaces, food trucks, pop-ups).
Q: How often do the filters need changing? A: The polyester pre-filter every 8–12 weeks depending on cooking volume. The carbon filter every 12 months. The 3 standard removable filters wash in a sink with commercial degreaser as part of your normal kitchen cleaning cycle.
Q: What cooking appliances can I run under this hood? A: Anything that fits within the 8 kW total appliance load — typically 3–4 benchtop units such as induction cooktops, electric griddles, benchtop fryers, wok burners, or crêpe makers. 3-phase appliances are compatible as long as they're within the load rating.
Q: What size workbench do I need for my kitchen? A: The HB1200-750 is the default 1.2 m × 0.75 m variant. Larger versions are available (1.5 m or 1.8 m wide, 750 mm or 850 mm deep) for sites with more cooktop coverage or deeper prep requirements. Contact our team to confirm the right variant for your layout.
Q: Does it run on standard Australian power? A: The hood itself runs on a standard 10 A 240 V outlet. The appliances you plug into the bench are powered separately per their own specs (including 3-phase for heavier equipment).
Q: What's covered under warranty and how is delivery handled? A: 12 months parts and labour from delivery. Because this is a large, heavy integrated unit, it ships as pallet freight Australia-wide — kerbside delivery is standard, with inside-placement quoted separately. Our Granville NSW team handles warranty claims direct.
