Anvil DSD0002 Double Drawer Refrigerated Display 140L

The Anvil DSD0002 is a double-drawer refrigerated display that loads from the back and presents through triple-glazed ITO glass. The drawers slide out to a 300 mm maximum loading height over an illuminated base, and the cabinet is brushed #304 stainless steel inside and out. It stands 1200 mm high on a 1200 x 700 mm footprint.

Why operators choose the DSD0002

• Triple-glazed ITO glass with a heater — ITO glass carries a transparent conductive coating that warms the pane. On a chilled display that is not a luxury — condensation on the glass hides the product you are trying to sell, and three panes plus a heater is what stops it forming
• Twice the display for 19 per cent more power — the double runs at 0.38 kW against 0.32 kW on the single while carrying double the capacity. The second drawer costs about 60 W, not another 320
• Two rear-sliding drawers with an illuminated base — staff load from behind while the customer-facing glass stays clean and uninterrupted. The lit base means product at the back of the drawer is still visible
• 300 mm maximum loading height — this is the working constraint. Anything taller than 300 mm will not close, so check your tallest cake, tart or platter against it before ordering
• Brushed #304 stainless steel, inside and out — 304 is the grade specified for food contact and wash-down. Black brushed finish on both surfaces, so the interior stands up to cleaning as well as the exterior does
• 1/3 HP compressor — the recorded compressor rating. Our records do not carry an operating temperature range or an ambient rating for this cabinet and both are named as gaps in the specifications below

Installation & delivery

Allow 1200 mm of counter width, 700 mm of depth and 1200 mm of height, plus room behind for the drawers to draw out and for staff to work. Power is 240 V at 0.38 kW; no amperage is recorded against this model, so have your electrician confirm the circuit rather than working from the kW figure alone. Packed it measures 765 x 1300 x 1360 mm. Our weight records disagree at 150 and 200 kg — plan the lift on the heavier figure. Dispatched Australia-wide.

Frequently asked questions

Q: What is the tallest item it will take?

300 mm. That is the maximum loading height of the drawer, and it is the specification most worth checking before you order - a tall celebration cake or a stacked platter will not close the drawer.

Q: What temperature does it hold?

Our supplier records do not state an operating temperature range or an ambient rating for this cabinet, and we are not going to invent one for a refrigerated display. It is recorded as running a 1/3 HP compressor. Contact us and we will confirm the range with the supplier before you order.

Q: Why is the glass triple glazed?

To stop condensation. The panes carry an ITO coating that warms the glass, and on a chilled cabinet in a warm room that is what keeps the customer-facing view clear instead of fogged.

Q: How do staff load it?

From the rear. The drawer slides out at the back over an illuminated base, so restocking never disturbs the front display.

Q: What does it weigh?

Our two records disagree: one gives 200 kg and the other a packed weight of 150 kg, and a product cannot weigh more than its own carton. We publish the higher figure so that nobody plans a lift or a delivery path on the lighter one. We are having the supplier record corrected.

Q: Is the capacity figure a measured specification?

It comes from the model designation - this is sold as a 140 litre display - and is not separately recorded in the supplier specification we hold. Treat it as the nominal rating rather than a measured internal volume.

Q: What warranty does it come with?

12 months on site. That is worth noting: an on-site term means a technician attends rather than the cabinet being shipped away, which on a 1200 mm display matters. Full terms are on our warranty information page.
