The Anvil FBCG2202 is a 170 L gross / 145 L net undercounter glass-door fridge on a 598 x 679 x 838 mm footprint. A reversible double-glazed door with an internal LED puts chilled stock on show under a bar or counter, and a Dixell digital controller with auto-defrost holds the temperature. One number deserves attention before you order: it is rated to a 30 degrees C ambient, which is lower than most cabinets in our range.
Why operators choose the FBCG2202
- Rated to a 30 degrees C room, not 38 — this is the specification to check first. The back bar fridges in the same Anvil range are rated to 38 degrees C; this cabinet is rated to 30. In a hot kitchen, or tucked beside a glasswasher or under a coffee machine, that difference decides whether it holds temperature
- Reversible double-glazed door with a lock — hinge it to suit either side of the bench, and it locks as standard. Double glazing plus an internal LED keeps the stock visible without fogging
- 170 L gross, 145 L net — the supplier puts that at roughly 23 x 2 L milk cartons — a useful yardstick for a cafe deciding whether one cabinet covers a morning
- Three adjustable shelves — reconfigure between cartons, bottles and prepped containers as the menu changes, rather than living with fixed spacings
- Dixell digital controller with auto-defrost — a named controller rather than a dial, and auto-defrost means one less thing for staff to remember during service
- Adjustable front feet, rear rollers — level it at the front and roll it in and out from the back — which is how you get at an undercounter cabinet for cleaning without lifting it
- 1.036 kWh per 24 hours — the recorded energy consumption. Note that no power rating in watts or kW is recorded against this model — only the 240 V supply and this daily figure

Venue suitability
Suited to cafes, bars, bottle shops and back-of-house prep areas that need chilled stock visible and within reach without giving up the floor space an upright takes. Measure the 598 x 679 mm footprint against your counter void, and check the room it will live in against the 30 degrees C ambient rating.
Compare it across our undercounter glass door fridges range, see the rest of the Anvil range, or browse all commercial fridges.
Installation & delivery
It needs a 598 mm wide by 679 mm deep void and 838 mm of height, with ventilation clearance to the rear. The door is reversible, so decide the hinge side on site rather than at order. Power is a standard 240 V supply; no wattage or amperage is recorded against this model, so have your electrician confirm the circuit rather than sizing it from the 1.036 kWh/24h energy figure, which is a daily average and not a load rating. Dispatched Australia-wide.

Frequently asked questions
Q: What room temperature is it rated for?
30 degrees C. This is the specification most worth checking on this cabinet. Several other Anvil units we carry are rated to 38 degrees C, so if it is going into a hot kitchen, beside a glasswasher or under a coffee machine, satisfy yourself that the space stays within 30.
Q: What power supply does it need?
A standard 240 V single-phase outlet. No wattage or amperage is recorded against this model in the supplier specification we hold, so we are not going to state one. The energy figure of 1.036 kWh per 24 hours is a daily average and must not be used to size a circuit - have your electrician confirm it.
Q: How much will it hold?
170 L gross and 145 L net. The supplier puts that at roughly 23 x 2 L milk cartons.
Q: Can the door be hinged on the other side?
Yes. The double-glazed glass door is fully reversible, so it can be set to open from whichever side suits your bench layout, and a lock is fitted as standard.
Q: What refrigerant does it use?
R600a, isobutane. Note that the Anvil back bar fridges in the same range use R290 instead, so do not assume one gas across the brand - tell your refrigeration mechanic which cabinet they are working on.
Q: Is it stainless steel?
Our records are not consistent on this. The external material is recorded as Colourbond steel, while the colour is separately recorded as Stainless Steel. We publish the material as recorded and make no stainless construction claim. Ask us and we will confirm with the supplier.
Q: What warranty does it carry?
12 months. The supplier records a duration only for this model, with no statement about whether labour is included, so we are not going to claim it either way. Full terms are on our warranty information page.
