The Anvil WBA1002 is a double Belgian waffle baker with 4 x 500 W heating elements across two irons, each producing a 190 mm waffle, with 180 degree rotating plates and programmable heat and time. It is supplied with two 10 A plugs and needs two separate outlets — not one — which is the thing to check before it arrives.
Why operators choose the ICE-WBA1002
- It is supplied with 2 x 10 A plugs and needs two separate outlets — this catches people out. 2 kW across two irons is split across two cords, so a single double power point on one circuit is not enough - you need two outlets, and ideally not on the same circuit. Sort this before delivery day
- Two irons doubles throughput without doubling the bench — 520 mm wide against the single model's 255 mm, so two waffles at once for barely more than twice the width
- 180 degree rotating plates — the plate flips through half a turn during the bake. That is what spreads the batter evenly through the iron and gives a Belgian waffle that is cooked through rather than dense on one side
- Programmable heat and time with a digital display — set it once and every waffle comes out the same regardless of who is on. On a product sold by appearance, consistency is the whole game
- Timer alarm with buzzer — it tells you when the waffle is done rather than relying on someone watching it during a rush
- Stainless steel construction — survives batter, sugar and daily cleaning
- 190 mm waffle diameter — the finished size - check it against your plates, boxes and packaging before ordering

Venue suitability
The WBA1002 suits cafes, dessert bars and venues where waffles are a volume line rather than an occasional order. Two irons at 520 mm wide is efficient use of counter — but plan the two separate outlets into the bench before it arrives.

Installation & delivery
This machine is supplied with two 10 A plugs and requires two separate outlets. A single double power point fed by one circuit is not sufficient — 2 kW through one 10 A circuit would be over its limit, which is precisely why the manufacturer splits it across two cords. Ideally put them on different circuits. Sort this with your electrician before delivery, because it is the kind of thing that stops a machine being used on day one. Dimensions are recorded width x height x depth: 520 mm wide, 286 mm tall, 530 mm deep — check the depth as well as the frontage. Our data records no weight.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Why does it come with two plugs?
Because 2 kW is more than a single 10 amp circuit will carry. The manufacturer splits the load across two cords at 1 kW each, so you need two separate outlets - and ideally not both fed from the same circuit, or you are back to the same limit. This is the single most common reason a machine like this cannot be used on the day it arrives, so confirm it with your electrician before delivery.
Q: How does it compare to the single model?
Four 500 W elements against two, two irons against one, 520 mm wide against 255 mm, and 2 kW on two plugs against 1 kW on one. Both produce the same 190 mm waffle with the same rotating plates and the same programmable controls. The double is about throughput - and about having somewhere to plug it in.
Q: How big are the waffles?
190 mm in diameter, the same as the single model. Check that against your plates and takeaway packaging before ordering.
Q: Why do the plates rotate?
Each iron turns through 180 degrees during the bake so the batter spreads through the whole mould instead of settling to the bottom. That is what gives a light, evenly cooked Belgian waffle rather than one that is dense underneath.
Q: Will the two irons stay consistent with each other?
Both run from the same programmable heat and time settings with a digital display and a timer buzzer, so they are set the same way. That is what keeps output consistent between the two irons and between staff.
