The Prismafood AR300P is an automatic pizza dough rounder that balls dough portions from 50 to 280 g at up to 800 pieces an hour. Rounding by hand is the slowest, most repetitive job in a pizza prep routine and the one where consistency slips first — an unevenly balled portion opens unevenly and bakes unevenly. It has a compact 510 x 510 mm footprint, wheels included, and runs on three-phase supply.
Why operators choose the AR300P
- Up to 800 pieces an hour — the labour case in one number. That is a day's pizza prep in an hour, done by a machine while your staff do something that needs a person
- 50 to 280 g portion range — covers everything from a small entree base through to a large pizza, so one machine handles your whole range
- Consistent balls open evenly — the real quality argument. A ball that is tight on one side opens thin on the other and bakes unevenly - the reason hand-rounding shows up in the finished pizza
- 510 x 510 mm footprint — genuinely compact for a floor machine, which is the manufacturer's point about suiting smaller pizzerias and artisan producers
- Wheels included — it moves out for cleaning and back into place, rather than living permanently in the middle of your prep area
- Solid build for continuous use — the manufacturer's emphasis is on constructive solidity rather than features - on a machine doing one repetitive job, that is the right emphasis
- Three-phase, only 300 W — a low load for a three-phase machine, so the circuit is straightforward once three phase is available
- 55 kg — heavy enough to stay put working dough, light enough to wheel

Venue suitability
The AR300P suits pizzerias, bakeries and artisan producers balling dough in volume — the manufacturer specifically positions it for smaller operations because of its footprint. If you are still rounding by hand at more than a few hundred bases a week, this is the machine that pays for itself in labour first and consistency second.

Installation & delivery
This is a three-phase machine and needs a licensed electrician — it is not a plug-in appliance, even though the load is only 300 W at 1.6 A. If three phase is not already at your premises, factor that work in before you commit. It arrives on wheels, so placement is a matter of rolling it in; allow 510 x 510 mm plus room to work at the infeed and collect at the discharge. At 55 kg it is a two-person lift if it has to go up a step. Our recorded packed dimensions are narrower than the machine itself, so confirm freight dimensions with our team if that matters.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What size dough balls will it make?
From 50 g to 280 g, at up to 800 pieces an hour. That range covers a small entree base through to a large pizza, so one machine handles a full menu rather than just your standard size.
Q: Why does rounding by machine matter - is it not just faster?
Speed is the obvious benefit, consistency is the real one. A hand-balled portion that is tighter on one side opens thin on that side and bakes unevenly. Every ball out of a rounder has the same tension, so every base opens the same way. On a menu where the pizza is the product, that shows.
Q: What electrical supply does it need?
415 V three phase at 300 W and 1.6 A, hard-wired by a licensed electrician. The load is small but the supply type is not negotiable - if you do not have three phase, price that work before ordering.
Q: Does it come with anything to move it?
Yes - wheels are included, so it rolls out for cleaning and back into position. At 55 kg that matters.
Q: How much space does it need?
The machine is 510 x 510 mm and 750 mm tall. Allow working room at the infeed for loading portions and space at the discharge to collect balled dough - the footprint alone is not the whole space requirement.
Q: What warranty does the AR300P come with?
Covered for 2 years parts and labour. Terms vary by product — see our warranty information page for full details.
