The Yasaki B7B is a 7 litre planetary mixer with variable speed from 75 to 660 rpm — a genuinely wide range rather than three fixed gears — and a tilting head for easy bowl access. Stainless steel bowl with dough hook, beater and whisk all included. Important: overloading the machine or using the wrong speed will void the warranty, and the capacity ratings assume dry bread flour at a minimum of 55 % water.
Why operators choose the B7B
- Overloading or wrong speed VOIDS the warranty — stated plainly by the manufacturer. This is not fine print - run a stiff dough at high speed and you are on your own. Match the speed to the job
- Capacity ratings assume 55 % minimum water content — the maximum capacity figures are based on dry bread flour at a minimum of 55 % hydration. A drier dough is effectively a heavier load, so derate accordingly
- Variable speed 75 to 660 rpm — continuously variable rather than stepped, so you can crawl through a fold and still whip a meringue on the same machine
- Tilting head — the head tips back so the bowl and tool come out without wrestling - on a small mixer that is used many times a day
- All three attachments and the bowl included — dough hook, beater and whisk with a stainless steel bowl, so nothing else is needed
- 7 litre bowl — sized for cafe and patisserie work - creams, batters, icings and small dough batches
- 280 W — modest draw, runs from a standard supply
- 18 kg — light enough for one person to reposition, unlike the 56 kg 10 litre machines

Venue suitability
The B7B suits cafes, patisseries, small bakeries and restaurant kitchens doing creams, batters, icings, meringue and light dough in small batches. Its variable speed and tilting head make it a practical everyday machine rather than an occasional one — but respect the load and speed limits, because exceeding them voids cover.

Installation & delivery
It draws 280 W at 240 V, so no electrical work is required. At 18 kg it is a one-person lift onto a bench. Allow clearance above and behind for the head to tilt back. Brief your staff on the speed and load limits — the manufacturer voids warranty for overloading or using the wrong speed, so it is worth writing the intended speed for each recipe onto the recipe card.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What can void your cover on the B7B?
The manufacturer states plainly that overloading the machine and/or using the incorrect speed can cause damage and will void warranty. It is worth briefing staff and noting the intended speed on your recipe cards, because this is an easy way to lose cover.
Q: What do the capacity ratings assume?
Maximum capacities are based on dry bread flour at a minimum of 55 per cent water content. A drier dough puts more load on the drive for the same weight, so derate if you work below that.
Q: How wide is the speed range really?
75 to 660 rpm, variable rather than stepped. That is wide enough to fold delicately at the bottom of the range and aerate properly at the top, which fixed-speed machines cannot do.
Q: Which attachments are included?
A dough hook, a beater and a whisk, with the stainless steel bowl.
Q: What does a tilting head give me?
The head tips back so the bowl and attachment come clear without wrestling them past each other. On a machine used repeatedly through a shift it saves real time.
Q: What warranty does the B7B come with?
Covered for 2 years on parts and labour. Terms vary by product — see our warranty information page for full details.
