The Benchstar MAX GH-760E is a 760 mm commercial benchtop griddle for high-volume breakfast and a la carte cooking. A 12 mm polished mild steel plate holds and recovers heat quickly across a 756 x 400 mm cooking surface, and three independently controlled thermostat zones let you hold eggs, meats and vegetables at different temperatures at the same time. It runs on 415 V three-phase power at 9 kW — the highest-output griddle in this range, and not a plug-in appliance.
Why operators choose the GH-760E
- Three independent thermostat zones — run 50-300C on each third of the plate, so eggs, meats and vegetables hold their own temperatures through service
- 12 mm polished mild steel plate — thicker than a standard griddle plate, so it holds heat under a full load and recovers between batches instead of stalling
- 756 x 400 mm cooking surface — genuine multi-station area for a breakfast rush rather than a single-pan footprint
- 415 V three-phase, 9 kW — the output to run all three zones hard at once, which a single-phase griddle of this size cannot sustain
- 2 mm splash guard — contains spatter at the back and sides so the surround stays cleanable
- Removable front oil collector — pulls out from the front for emptying without moving the unit off the bench
- Stainless steel body — stands up to daily commercial cleaning and high ambient heat
- 48 kg build mass — the weight that keeps a 12 mm plate stable and even under sustained load

Venue suitability
The GH-760E suits cafes, diners, hotels and food trucks running sustained breakfast or a la carte griddle service where three temperature zones earn their keep. The deciding factor is supply: three-phase power is common in commercial kitchens but absent from many small tenancies, so confirm it before ordering.

Installation & delivery
This is a 415 V three-phase appliance, not a plug-in one. Three-phase supply is common in commercial kitchens but is not present in every tenancy, so confirm three-phase power is available at the install position before ordering and have a licensed electrician make the connection. Allow 760 mm of heat-tolerant bench, clearance behind the splash guard, and front access to withdraw the oil collector. At 48 kg it is a two-person lift into position. Dispatched from our Sydney HQ with partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for faster delivery Australia-wide. Backed by a 1-year parts and labour warranty — see our warranty information page for full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can the GH-760E run on a standard power outlet? A: No. It is a 415V three-phase appliance at 9kW. It cannot be plugged into a 10A or 15A outlet and must be connected by a licensed electrician to a three-phase supply.
Q: How do I know if my kitchen has three-phase power? A: Three-phase is common in purpose-built commercial kitchens but is often absent in small retail tenancies and shopfronts. An electrician can confirm from your switchboard before you order.
Q: What do the three zones actually let me do? A: Each zone has its own thermostat across a 50-300C range, so you can hold one third of the plate hot for meats, another moderate for eggs and a third lower for vegetables or holding, at the same time.
Q: Why does the plate thickness matter? A: At 12mm the plate stores more heat, so it recovers faster when cold food hits it and holds temperature under a full load rather than dropping away mid-batch.
Q: How is the oil collected and emptied? A: A removable oil collector sits at the front of the unit and pulls out for emptying, so you do not need to move the griddle to clean it.
Q: What warranty applies? A: One year parts and labour.
