The Benchstar DH-310E is a stainless steel chip warmer with dual 450 W Incoloy elements heating from above and a quartz light. Its 1/1 GN base with a perforated tray insert is the practical part: oil drains away from the chips instead of pooling under them.
Why operators choose the DH-310E
- Dual 450 W Incoloy elements — top heat from two elements rather than one, so the pan is heated evenly end to end
- 1/1 GN base with perforated tray insert — oil drains through instead of sitting under the chips, which is what keeps them crisp
- Quartz light — holds surface temperature and keeps the product looking hot
- Standard 1/1 GN footprint — uses pans the kitchen already owns
- All stainless steel — wipes down and survives a greasy station
- 7 kg — light enough to move for cleaning
- Standard 10 A outlet — no dedicated circuit needed

Venue suitability
Fish and chip shops, takeaway counters, pubs and clubs, and QSR sites holding fried product between the fryer and the counter. The perforated insert is what separates a chip warmer from a generic heat lamp: chips come out of it crisp rather than sitting in their own oil.

Installation & delivery
It is a self-contained plug-in unit — no plumbing and no hard-wiring — and runs from a standard 10 A outlet. Set it on a level bench able to carry the loaded weight and leave clearance around the unit for airflow. Position it in the run between the fryer and the service point, and allow clearance above for the radiant heat. Dispatched from our Sydney HQ with partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for faster delivery Australia-wide. Backed by a 12-month return-to-base warranty — the unit is returned for service rather than attended on site. See our warranty information page for full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How does the Benchstar DH-310E keep chips crisp? A: A 1/1 GN base with a perforated tray insert lets oil drain away from the product instead of pooling under it, while dual 450 W Incoloy elements heat from above.
Q: What pan size does it take? A: A standard 1/1 GN pan, so it uses pans the kitchen already owns.
Q: What power supply does it need? A: 240 V, 1000 W on a standard 10 A outlet.
Q: What are the dimensions and weight? A: It measures 330 mm wide x 560 mm deep x 500 mm high and weighs 7 kg.
Q: What is the quartz light for? A: It holds surface temperature and keeps the product looking hot on the counter.
Q: What warranty applies? A: Twelve months, return to base. The unit is returned for service rather than a technician attending on site — reasonable on a benchtop appliance you can transport, but worth factoring into downtime planning.
