The Brullen i26 Pro is a countertop twist soft serve and frozen yoghurt machine with two 12 litre hoppers, two 2 litre freezing cylinders and cooled, agitated hoppers. It runs a Tecumseh 1.75 HP compressor with Danfoss dryer and expansion valve from a single 15 A dedicated circuit — unusual for a twin-hopper machine, and the reason it fits where the floor-standing models do not.
Why operators choose the i26_PRO-NP-GF
- Twin hoppers on a single 15 A circuit — the i95 Pro and the Beast both need two dedicated circuits. This machine delivers two hoppers and a twist from one 15 A supply, which is what makes it viable in a venue that cannot get switchboard work done
- Cooled hoppers with agitators — the mix is chilled and kept moving in the hopper rather than sitting still - food safety on a dairy product held through a trading day, and it keeps the mix consistent
- Named-brand refrigeration components — a Tecumseh 1.75 HP compressor with a Danfoss dryer and Danfoss expansion valve. On a machine that runs continuously these are the parts that decide service life, and naming them is more useful than not
- Pasteurising, wash kit and defrost are listed as options — our data records all three as optional rather than fitted. If any of them matters to you, confirm with us before ordering - the wash kit also requires plumbing
- 2 x 2 litre freezing cylinders — the cylinder is what actually freezes product, and its size drives recovery between serves
- Gravity feed: 15% to 45% overrun — overrun is how much air is whipped into the mix, and it is the number that decides both texture and yield. A gravity-feed machine relies on the mix falling into the cylinder, which limits how much air goes in - so you get a denser, more gelato-like product and fewer serves per litre
- Soft-touch operator menu — the controls a staff member actually uses, on a sealed panel that survives a sticky bench
- POM plastic scraper blades — the blades scrape the frozen layer off the cylinder wall. Plastic rather than steel means they wear instead of the cylinder
- R404a refrigerant, air-cooled condenser — no plumbing for the condenser - but it does need airflow around it

Venue suitability
The i26 Pro suits cafes, dessert bars and frozen-yoghurt counters wanting two flavours and a twist without a floor-standing machine or switchboard work. The combination of twin cooled hoppers and a single 15 A circuit is what distinguishes it from everything else in the Brullen range.

Installation & delivery
A single 15 A dedicated circuit at a recorded 2.55 kW — notably simpler than the i95 Pro or the Beast, which each need two dedicated circuits. Dimensions are recorded width x depth x height: 515 x 700 x 955 mm including drip tray and feet, and warm air discharges from the right-hand side, so leave that side clear and do not sit it hard against a wall or another appliance on the right. Our data records the machine weight two ways — 145 kg as the gravity-feed machine weight and 160 kg as a general weight figure — so plan the lift against the higher number. The source refers you to the equipment manual for ventilation clearances rather than stating them.

Frequently asked questions
Q: What is overrun, and why does it matter more than anything else here?
Overrun is the percentage of air whipped into the mix. It sets both the texture and your yield. A gravity-feed machine runs 15-45% overrun and gives a denser, gelato-like product; an air-pump machine runs 40-80% and gives classic light soft serve. The commercial consequence is the yield: at 80% overrun one litre of mix becomes roughly 1.8 litres of finished product, where at 20% it becomes 1.2. If you are comparing a gravity-feed and an air-pump version of the same machine, that is the difference you are actually choosing between.
Q: Is pasteurisation included?
No. Our data lists 'Pasteurize' as an OPTION on this machine, not as fitted equipment - and this is the only product in the Brullen range whose data mentions pasteurisation at all. If you need a pasteurising machine, talk to us before ordering so we can confirm exactly what is included and what it costs. Do not assume it is fitted.
Q: What electrical supply does it need?
A single 15 amp dedicated circuit, at a recorded nominal 2.55 kW. That is genuinely notable for a twin-hopper twist machine: the floor-standing i95 Pro needs two 20 amp dedicated circuits and the Beast needs two at 25 amps. If switchboard work is difficult at your site, this is the machine to look at.
Q: How much does it weigh?
Our records give two figures - 145 kg as the gravity-feed machine weight and 160 kg as a general weight. We have not tried to reconcile them; plan your lift and your bench rating against the higher figure, and ask us if the exact number matters.
Q: Does it need plumbing or extra ventilation?
The condenser is air-cooled, so there is no water connection for cooling - but it does need clear airflow around it, and boxing it into a tight cabinet will cost you capacity on a hot day. Our data does not record a ventilation clearance figure for this model, so check the equipment manual or ask us before you build it into joinery.
Q: What is the scraper blade made of and why does that matter?
POM plastic. The blades scrape the frozen layer off the inside of the freezing cylinder thousands of times a day, and the choice of material decides what wears out. Plastic blades wear instead of the cylinder, so the consumable is a cheap replaceable part rather than the machine itself.
