FED-X Splashback Top 1360 mm 2 Door 600 mm Underbench XUB62-WBB

The XUB62-WBB is a splashback top panel, 1360 mm wide and 600 mm deep, for FED-X 2-door 600 mm underbench units. It replaces the flat top with one carrying an upstand along the back edge, so splash from the bench behind runs down onto the top instead of behind the cabinet - which is the one place nobody can clean without pulling the unit out. It suits XUB6C13S2V and XUB6F13S2V. The upstand height is not confirmed - read the FAQ before you set a clearance.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why is the upstand height not stated?

Because there are three different figures on record and none of them agrees. Our supplier's data feed lists 140 mm in its height column, the same feed's product description says 100 mm, and our own stored specification says 140 mm. Rather than publish a number you might set a shelf height from, we have left it out and asked the supplier to confirm. Contact us and we will chase it for you.

Q: Which cabinets does this fit?

XUB6C13S2V and XUB6F13S2V. The panels are specific to the cabinet width, depth and door count, so check your model rather than ordering on width alone.

Q: What does a splashback top actually change?

It adds an upstand along the rear edge of the top. Without one, anything spilled at the back of the bench runs down between the cabinet and the wall, where it cannot be cleaned without moving the unit. With one, the spill stays on the top where it can be wiped off.

Q: Can it be retrofitted to a cabinet already installed?

It replaces the existing top, so yes - but it means lifting the current top and usually pulling the unit out from the wall. Far easier to specify it with the cabinet.
