Installation & delivery

This is a gas appliance and must be installed and commissioned by a licensed gasfitter - it is not a plug-in unit. It needs a 1/2 inch NPT rear natural gas connection and a water supply to the front-positioned inlet, plus drainage for the 1/4 inch full-port drain. Confirm the available gas supply capacity before ordering: at 150 MJ/h this is a substantial load. Q: Why does this page not state a thermostat range?

Because the range recorded against this product is not credible for a pasta cooker. The source states 93 to 204 degrees C, an "open stainless steel fryer pot with cold zone" and a 232 degrees C hi-limit. Water boils at 100 degrees C, so a 204 degrees C water thermostat is not possible, and "fryer pot" and "cold zone" are deep-fryer features. The 6-basket PC150-6 in the same range carries none of those three lines. Rather than publish figures that belong to a different appliance, we have left them out - ask us and we will confirm the real control range.

Q: How many baskets and what size?

The control system is millivolt with a standby pilot, which generates its own control voltage from the pilot flame, so the cooker itself does not depend on an electrical supply to run.
