The Yasaki HBS-300C is a gear-driven commercial meat slicer with a 300 mm forged stainless steel blade and thickness adjustable from 0.2 to 15 mm — a wider range than the smaller HBS-250. Its body is a polished, anodised aluminium-magnesium cast alloy with no sharp edges or corners, and both the blade cover and carrier have security protection. Important: Yasaki specify this machine for non-frozen meat.
Why operators choose the HBS-300C
- For NON-FROZEN meat — Yasaki specify fresh meat and smallgoods — unlike the HBS-250, this machine is not rated for frozen product, and that is the first thing to check against your workflow
- 0.2 to 15 mm thickness range — wider than the 250mm model's 12 mm ceiling, so it covers wafer-thin smallgoods through to a thick cut
- 300 mm forged stainless blade — forged rather than stamped, on a larger diameter that takes a wider product
- Gear drive — a geared transmission rather than a belt, so there is nothing to slip or stretch
- Polished anodised cast alloy body — aluminium-magnesium alloy, anodised and polished, with no sharp edges or corners to trap product
- Blade cover and carrier both have security protection — the two parts that come off for cleaning are both interlocked
- Built-in sharpener — the edge is maintained in place, which keeps cut quality consistent over months
- CE compliant with a metal on/off switch — certified construction and a switch built for a wet environment

Venue suitability
The HBS-300C suits butchers, delis, sandwich bars and caterers slicing fresh meats and smallgoods to order. The capability to confirm before ordering is the product state: this is a non-frozen machine, so if you slice frozen product the HBS-250 is the model rated for it.

Installation & delivery
It runs from a standard 240 V, 10 A outlet, so no dedicated circuit or electrician is needed. Allow 748 x 686 mm of bench with clearance to the side for carriage travel and room to work safely at the blade. Site it where it can be fully dismantled and cleaned down, and follow the manufacturer's guarding and handling instructions — a 300 mm blade demands it. Dispatched from our Sydney HQ with partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for faster delivery Australia-wide. Backed by a 2-year parts and labour warranty — see our warranty information page for full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can the HBS-300C slice frozen meat? A: No. Yasaki specify it for non-frozen meat. If you need to slice frozen product, the HBS-250 is explicitly rated as suitable for frozen meat — that is a genuine difference between the two models, not a matter of degree.
Q: What thickness range does it cut? A: 0.2mm to 15mm, which is wider than the HBS-250's 0.2 to 12mm ceiling.
Q: Why a gear drive rather than a belt? A: A geared transmission has nothing to slip or stretch. On a slicer used daily, the belt is a recurring service item that a gear drive removes.
Q: What is the body made from? A: An aluminium-magnesium cast alloy, polished and anodised, designed with no sharp edges or corners so product and soil have nowhere to lodge.
Q: Does it need sharpening accessories? A: No. A sharpener is built in, so the edge is maintained in place.
Q: What warranty applies? A: Two years parts and labour.
