The Yasaki FS100M is a 100 litre spiral mixer taking up to 40 kg of flour, with two motors — one driving the bowl and one the hook — and two speeds at 150 and 200 rpm. It weighs 340 kg. Its recorded electrical specification is 415 V, 5 kW, three phase, which conflicts with the description text; that is set out below and is the one thing to resolve before you order.
Why operators choose the FS100M
- Two motors - one for the bowl, one for the hook — separate drives rather than one motor and a gearbox. The bowl and the tool can then run independently, which is what a production machine needs and what the smaller models in this range do not have
- 100 litre bowl, 40 kg maximum flour — the flour rating is the motor's; the bowl volume is what fits
- Recorded as 415 V three phase - but the description says single phase — the conflict is set out in the installation section. Do not price wiring from this page
- Two speeds at 150 and 200 rpm — a slow speed to bring the dough together and a fast speed to develop it. A single-speed mixer forces a compromise between the two, and on bread dough that shows in the crumb
- Stainless steel bowl, hook and shaft — the three parts that touch dough all day. Stainless on all three is the difference between a machine that survives daily wash-down and one that pits
- Schneider contactor — a named-brand electrical component rather than an unspecified one - it is the part that switches the motor thousands of times and the usual first failure on a cheap mixer
- Digital display — speed and operation read rather than guessed
- Overheat protector — a spiral mixer working stiff dough draws hard. Thermal protection is what stops an overloaded batch becoming a motor replacement
- Stainless steel cover with safety guard — the guard is interlocked into the machine's operation, not an afterthought
- Heavy-duty castors — the machine can be rolled out for cleaning behind it, which on a floor-standing mixer is the difference between that happening and not
- Fixed head — the bowl and head do not tilt. Simpler and more rigid than a tilting design, at the cost of a more awkward unload

Venue suitability
The FS100M suits production bakeries and high-volume pizzerias mixing 40 kg flour batches. At 340 kg and with twin motors it is a fixed installation rather than a machine that gets moved around, and the supply question below needs answering before it is ordered.

Installation & delivery
The recorded electrical specification and the product description disagree, and the difference is expensive. The power data for this machine reads 415 V, 5 kW, 3~N — three phase, while the description text states "single phase". That wording appears word-for-word on every model in this range including the 35 litre machine, so it reads as boilerplate rather than a specification. We have published the recorded electrical figures because they are the specific ones, but do not book electrical work from this page — ask us to confirm the supply with the supplier first. Three-phase installation can cost more than a small mixer.
Dimensions are recorded width x depth x height: 650 mm wide, 1,080 mm deep, 1,380 mm tall, and it weighs 340 kg — check floor loading and the delivery route, and expect to need equipment to move it. The recorded packed height of 1,108 mm is lower than the machine's own 1,380 mm, which we cannot explain from our data; ask us to confirm the crated size if it matters for your access.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Is this machine single phase or three phase?
Our records disagree, and we would rather tell you that than pick one. The electrical data reads 415 V, 5 kW, 3~N, which is three phase. The description text says 'single phase' - but that same sentence appears word-for-word on every model in this range including the 35 litre machine, so it reads as copied boilerplate. We have published the specific recorded figures. Please ask us to confirm with the supplier before you book any electrical work, because the difference between a single-phase connection and a three-phase installation is substantial.
Q: What do the two motors do?
One drives the bowl and one drives the hook, instead of a single motor turning both through a gearbox. Independent drives let the bowl and the tool run at their own speeds, which matters on large batches. The 35 L, 40 L and 54 L models in this range do not have this.
Q: How much dough will it make?
Up to 40 kg of flour per batch in a 100 litre bowl. Plan from the flour rating - that is what the drive is rated against.
Q: How heavy is it and can my floor take it?
340 kg empty, before any dough. Add 100 litres of dough and you are well past half a tonne in one spot. On an upper floor or a timber floor that is worth checking with your builder, and you will need equipment to get it into position.
Q: What are the packed dimensions?
Recorded as 730 x 1150 x 1108 mm. We would flag that the recorded packed height is lower than the machine's own height of 1,380 mm, which our data does not explain - so if crate access is tight, ask us to confirm it before delivery.
