The Yasaki HR-6 is a compact 6-litre commercial food processor with variable speed and a stainless steel bowl that locks to the base. Its see-through lid lets you watch the cut develop from start to finish — and lets you add ingredients while it is running, which is what makes it usable for emulsions and progressive mixes rather than single-shot batches. 1,800 W from a standard 10 A outlet.
Why operators choose the HR-6
- Add ingredients while processing — oil into a mayonnaise, liquid into a pate — the difference between a processor you can build a recipe in and one you can only fill and run
- Variable speed — pulse coarse for a salsa or run fast for a smooth puree, from one control
- See-through lid — judge the cut by looking rather than stopping the machine to check
- 6 litre stainless steel bowl with locking mechanism — a real commercial batch size, and the bowl locks rather than sitting loose
- Stainless steel blade assembly — holds an edge through commercial duty and washes down properly
- Compact footprint at 565 mm wide — fits a prep bench that has no room for a floor-standing machine
- Runs from a standard 10 A outlet — 1,800 W through a normal socket, so no electrical work
- Easy to clean — bowl, lid and blade come apart for the wash-down a food-contact machine needs daily

Venue suitability
The HR-6 suits cafes, restaurants, caterers, delis and small production kitchens doing daily prep — chopping, pureeing, emulsifying and mixing — where a 6-litre batch is the right size and bench space is limited.

Installation & delivery
It runs from a standard 240 V, 10 A outlet, so no dedicated circuit or electrician is needed. Allow 565 mm of bench with clearance above to lift the lid and remove the bowl. Site it near a sink, since the bowl, lid and blade assembly come apart for washing after each use. Dispatched from our Sydney HQ with partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for faster delivery Australia-wide. Backed by a 2-year return-to-base warranty — the unit is returned for service rather than attended on site. See our warranty information page for full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can ingredients be added while the HR-6 is running? A: Yes. The lid is designed for it, which is what makes the machine suitable for emulsions like mayonnaise where oil has to go in gradually.
Q: What size batch does it handle? A: A 6 litre stainless steel bowl, which locks to the base rather than sitting loose.
Q: Does it need special wiring? A: No. It runs at 1,800W through a standard 10A outlet.
Q: What does variable speed give me? A: Control over the cut. A short pulse at low speed gives a coarse chop; running at speed gives a smooth puree. A single-speed machine forces you to judge it by time alone.
Q: An older version of this page said one year — which is right? A: Two years. Our structured product records both show a two-year return-to-base term, and the one-year figure in the older description text was out of date. If you bought based on the older text, you have more cover than it stated, not less.
Q: What warranty applies? A: Two years, return to base. The unit is returned for service rather than a technician attending on site.
