The ICE HLB range is a benchtop heat lamp built in five sizes — one, two, three, four or five shades on the one bar. Every shade carries its own 250 W Teflon-coated globe and the unit runs from a standard 10 A plug at 240 V, so no electrical work is needed to commission it. Each shade has an independent on/off switch, so you heat only the section of the pass you are using. Shades are iron, chrome-plated in a platinum finish, and the head height is adjustable.
Why operators choose the HLB0001
- Five sizes on one platform — one, two, three, four or five shades. The shade count sets the power draw and the width; everything else about the unit is common across the range
- 250 W Teflon-coated globe per shade — the globe is supplied with the lamp. Teflon coating is a shatter-containment measure, which is why it is specified over a bare globe on a food line
- 10 A plug supplied — the whole range plugs in. At 1.25 kW the largest five-shade unit still draws about 5.2 A, so a standard outlet carries it — a genuine advantage over hard-wired pendant lamps
- Independent on/off switch per shade — you can run one shade over a single hot item instead of heating the whole bar. On a long service that is the difference in running cost
- Adjustable head height — 595 to 750 mm on the single and double, 625 to 895 mm on the triple, quadruple and quintuple. Set the drop to the plate height you are holding
- Iron chrome-plated shade, platinum finish — a hard, wipeable finish for a fitting that sits directly over food

Venue suitability
Suited to a carvery, a bain marie pass, a takeaway counter or any service point where plated or tray food waits between kitchen and customer. The shade count follows the length of pass you are covering rather than the volume of food — a single shade over a two-plate window, five shades across a full carvery bench.

Installation & delivery
240 V, 10 A plug supplied on every size, with a maximum draw of about 5.2 A on the five-shade HLB0005 at 1.25 kW. That means no electrician and no switchboard work — the unit is ready to run out of the box, which is the practical difference between this range and a suspended hard-wired lamp. Set the head between 595 and 750 mm (one and two shade) or 625 and 895 mm (three to five shade) above the bench. Recorded dimensions are given exactly as the source states them and the source does not label the axes, so measure your bench against the largest figure before ordering. Dispatched Australia-wide.

Frequently asked questions
Q: Does it need an electrician?
No. Every size in the HLB range is supplied with a 10 A plug and runs from a standard outlet. The largest unit, the five-shade HLB0005, draws about 5.2 A at 1.25 kW, which is well inside a 10 A circuit. This is the main practical difference between the HLB range and the ICE Venus and Mars pendant lamps, which are hard wired and do need an electrician.
Q: Are the globes included?
Yes. Each shade is supplied with a 250 W Teflon-coated globe, so a five-shade HLB0005 arrives with five globes fitted.
Q: Can I run just one shade?
Yes. Each shade has its own on/off switch, so on a quiet service you can heat one section of the pass and leave the rest off.
Q: How high can it be set?
The single and double models adjust between 595 and 750 mm. The triple, quadruple and quintuple adjust between 625 and 895 mm.
Q: What does the shade count change?
Width and power draw. One shade is 0.25 kW, and each additional shade adds another 0.25 kW to a maximum of 1.25 kW on the five-shade model. Globe type, finish, switching and the 10 A supply are the same across the range.
Q: What warranty does it carry?
Our records show 12 months. The source does not state whether that covers parts only or parts and labour, so please confirm with our team before you order if the distinction matters to you.
