The Anvil COA1004 is a benchtop convection oven running from a 10 amp supply — which is the point of it: full convection baking without an electrical job. It comes with 4 shelves as standard, has a dual fan system for even heat, a timer and an interior light, and runs 50 to 300 °C. This model adds a grill function — but note the grill and bake functions cannot be used at the same time.
Why operators choose the ICE-COA1004
- It runs on 10 amps — 2.4 kW, so a standard outlet. For a convection oven that is genuinely useful - it means a caterer or a small kitchen gets fan-forced baking without paying an electrician, which is why the source calls it ideal for caterers
- 4 shelves supplied as standard — in the box, not an accessory purchase. Shelf size is 440 x 320 mm
- Dual fan system — two fans rather than one, which is what evens out heat across a chamber this size - the usual complaint about small convection ovens is one hot corner
- Grill and bake cannot run simultaneously — stated plainly because the source states it plainly, and it is the kind of limitation a buyer discovers at the worst moment. You choose one function at a time
- The grill costs you 25 mm of chamber height — this model's chamber is 460 x 370 x 325 mm against 350 mm on the version without a grill. The grill element takes the difference - worth knowing if you bake anything tall
- Timer and interior light — you can see what is happening without opening the door, and time it without a separate clock
- 50 to 300 degrees C — a working range from gentle holding through to browning

Venue suitability
This oven suits caterers, cafes, small kitchens and any site that needs fan-forced baking without an electrical installation. Four shelves on a 602 mm-wide bench footprint is a genuine working oven, and the grill function makes it a finishing tool as well - within the limitation that you cannot grill and bake at once.

Installation & delivery
Runs from a standard 10 amp supply at 2.4 kW — that is exactly 10 A at 240 V, so it uses the whole of a 10 amp circuit. Give it a dedicated circuit: sharing with a toaster or a kettle will trip the breaker. Dimensions are recorded width x height x depth: 602 x 596 x 652 mm — note the depth is the largest figure, so measure the bench. Our data records no weight.
Warranty terms are per product — see our warranty information page.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Does it really run on a normal 10 amp outlet?
Yes, at 2.4 kW - but that is exactly 10 amps at 240 V, so it uses the entire circuit. Put it on a dedicated 10 amp circuit rather than sharing with other benchtop equipment, or you will trip the breaker mid-service. The advantage over a larger convection oven is that no electrical upgrade is needed at all.
Q: How many shelves come with it?
Four, supplied as standard, at 440 x 320 mm each. They are in the box rather than an accessory purchase.
Q: What is the difference between the two Anvil convection ovens?
The grill. The COA1004 has a grill function and a 325 mm chamber height; the COA1003 has no grill and a 350 mm chamber. Everything else - the 4 shelves, the dual fan system, the 50 to 300 degrees C range, the 10 amp supply, the external dimensions - is identical. So it is grilling versus 25 mm of extra tray clearance.
Q: Why two fans?
Even heat. The standard complaint about small convection ovens is one corner running hotter than the rest, which shows up as unevenly coloured product across a tray. A dual fan system is what addresses that at this chamber size.
Q: Can I grill and bake at the same time?
No. Our data states explicitly that the grill and bake functions cannot be used simultaneously - you select one at a time. Worth knowing before you plan a service around finishing one dish while baking another.
