The Anvil DGV0530 is a 140 litre countertop cold showcase running 2 to 8 °C, with a digital electronic thermostat, auto defrost and a defogging function. It is gastronorm sized, has a 304 stainless steel interior and holds a temperature spread of only 1 to 2 °C between shelves. It is rated to a 32 °C ambient at 82% relative humidity.

Q: What does the 1 to 2 degrees C shelf spread mean?

It is how much the temperature varies between the top and bottom of the cabinet, and it is a specification most display fridges do not publish. A tight spread means product is held at the same temperature wherever it sits - which matters both for your food safety records and for how consistently product holds through a day.

Q: How is it different from the ice cream displays in the same range?

They are a freezer, this is a fridge. This showcase runs 2 to 8 degrees C for chilled product, is gastronorm sized and carries a 2 year parts and labour warranty. Q: Will my existing pans fit?

It is gastronorm sized, so standard GN pans and inserts fit. That is worth confirming against what your kitchen already runs, because it means no proprietary trays to buy or replace.

Q: What ambient temperature is it rated to?

32 degrees C at 82% relative humidity. The humidity figure is the useful half - a display rated on temperature alone can still struggle in a humid room, and 82% RH is a demanding number. Still, keep it out of direct sun and away from cooking equipment.
