The Anvil NDSV4740 is a 1200 mm 4-tier cake display fridge holding 480 litres, with 3 frosted glass shelves over a stainless steel base shelf. 240 V at 1.1 kW — roughly 4.6 A, so a standard outlet, though we would recommend a dedicated circuit for any refrigerated display that runs continuously. Dimensions are recorded width x height x depth: 1200 x 1350 x 680 mm. Leave clear airflow around the condenser and keep the cabinet out of direct sun and away from a doorway draught — the 32 °C at 82% RH rating is generous but it is still a limit. Our data records no weight. Clean the removable condenser filter on a schedule; a blocked filter is the most common reason a display stops holding temperature.

Q: What does the heated glass actually do?

It stops condensation forming on the inside of the panels. A chilled cabinet in a warm, humid room fogs up, and on a cake display that is fatal - customers buy what they can see. The ITO heating runs through the front, top and side glass, which is also why the cabinet can be rated to 82% relative humidity rather than temperature alone.

Q: Can I use it without refrigeration?

Yes, and it is a genuinely useful option. Turn the cooling off and the lights on and it works as an ambient display - for chocolate, pastries, breads or anything that should not be chilled. It means one cabinet can change role seasonally or through the day rather than sitting idle.

Q: What is the difference between the tier formats?

Shelving and height, not footprint. The 3-tier holds two glass shelves in a 1,200 mm-high cabinet, the 4-tier holds three in a 1,350 mm cabinet, and the Jewellery format holds one in a 1,000 mm cabinet. All share the same 680 mm depth. More tiers means more product in the same floor space; fewer tiers means more headroom per shelf for tall cakes. This is the 4-tier model.

Q: What size options are there?

This format comes in 900, 1200, 1500 and 1800 mm. Depth and height are identical across all of them, so the only thing that changes is frontage and capacity - this one holds 480 litres.

Q: What warranty does it carry?

Two years parts and labour, recorded as a Double Gold Star warranty. That is a genuinely strong term for refrigerated display - note that the countertop ice-cream displays in the same Anvil range carry only 12 months, so the cover is not uniform across the brand.
