Inomak UBI72240LB Low Boy 8 Drawer Fridge 332L 2240mm

The Inomak UBI72240LB is a low boy drawer fridge with 8 drawers: 332 L of refrigerated storage at only 660 mm high, built deliberately low so cooking equipment can stand on top of it. Every drawer runs on telescopic guides and takes 100 mm deep 1/1 GN pans.

Why operators choose the UBI72240LB

• 660 mm high, so it becomes the bench — this is the point of a low boy. A salamander, a chargrill or a countertop fryer stands on it at a working height, and the refrigerated storage goes underneath instead of taking a second run of floor.
• Telescopic guides on every drawer — the drawer comes fully out, so the pan at the back is reachable without unloading the one at the front. On a fixed runner the back third of a drawer is effectively dead space.
• 100 mm 1/1 GN pans — the standard prep pan, so what comes out of this cabinet drops straight into a bain marie or a prep well without decanting.
• Automatic defrost and anticorrosive evaporator protection — a cabinet that lives under a heat source works harder than one that does not; both of these are about what it is like in year three, not week one.
• Rated to a 43°C room — the ambient rating is the room temperature the cabinet is certified to keep holding in, not the temperature it will survive. It is the number that decides whether a fridge keeps its set point in an Australian kitchen in February with the cook line on.
• Two sizes in the range — the UBI71790LB is the other, at 245 L across 1790 mm.

Specifications

Venue suitability

Suits grill and fry sections, char-grill lines and any station where the cooking equipment and the cold storage have to occupy the same footprint. The 660 mm height is the specification to check against the equipment going on top.
