The Modular Systems 1800-6-DSBL is a left-handed sink bench, 1800 x 600 x 900 mm, with two 250 mm deep bowls in 1.2 mm 304-grade stainless steel. Flat packed for self-assembly.
Why operators choose the 1800-6-DSBL
- Two 250 mm deep bowls — deep enough to stand a gastronorm pan upright, which is usually the awkward item in any wash-up
- 1.2 mm 304-grade stainless steel top — 304 is the grade that takes daily detergent and food acid without pitting, and 1.2 mm is a working thickness rather than a facing
- Angled draining rack — water runs back toward the bowl instead of pooling on the bench or onto the floor
- Raised lip all round so spillage stays on the bench, and 100 mm splashbacks at a 900 mm working height
- Adjustable galvanised steel legs — so it levels on a floor that is not level, which most commercial kitchen floors are not
- Galvanised steel undershelf — note the legs and undershelf are galvanised, not stainless; the 304 grade is the top
- Flat packed for self-assembly — which keeps freight and door access manageable but means assembly time on site. The delivered cartons are far smaller than the finished bench, and that is the flat pack rather than a data error
- Optional stainless bolt-down feet (DM-FEET) if it has to be fixed down
- 2 years parts only — both our warranty records agree, so it is stated plainly; labour is not included
- The 1200-6-DSBC is the centre double at 1200 mm, and the 1500-7-SSBC is a centre single at 1500 mm and 700 mm deep

Venue suitability
A sink bench is the base of any wash-up area — restaurants, cafes, clubs and production kitchens. Bowl position decides how the bench works in practice, so match it to which side your dirty stack lands on and which way your staff move.

Installation & delivery
No electrical supply — this is an unpowered bench and plumbing is the trade you need. Dimensions are recorded width x depth x height: 1800 x 600 x 900 mm, with 250 mm deep bowls and 100 mm splashbacks. It arrives flat packed for self-assembly, so the cartons are much smaller than the finished bench — expected, not an error. The legs adjust for levelling and bolt-down feet (DM-FEET) are available separately. No weight is recorded.
Warranty terms are per product — see our warranty information page.
Frequently asked questions
Q: What does 'left handed' mean here?
The bowls sit to the left, so the draining area is on the right. That is the layout to choose when your dirty stack arrives from the left and clean items move right - or simply when the wall is on one side. The same range includes a centre-bowl version, so match the layout to how your staff actually move rather than to the width.
Q: What size are the bowls?
Two bowls at 250 mm deep - that depth takes a gastronorm pan standing upright. We do not hold the bowl length and width for this particular bench, only the depth, so if the footprint of the bowls matters to your fit-out contact us and we will confirm with the supplier.
Q: Does it come assembled?
No - flat packed for self-assembly, which keeps freight down and gets it through a doorway, but budget assembly time. The cartons being much smaller than the finished bench is the flat pack, not an error.
Q: Is the whole bench stainless steel?
The top is 1.2 mm 304-grade stainless. The legs and undershelf are galvanised steel. That is a normal build at this level - if you need stainless throughout, ask us.
Q: What warranty does it carry?
Two years, parts only - labour is not included. Both of our warranty records agree on that term.
