Orved Vacuum Sealer VM41 VMO9941

The Orved VM41 is a chamber vacuum sealer built entirely in AISI304 stainless steel, with a 25 m3/h Busch oil recirculation pump reaching a maximum vacuum of 99.8% (2 millibar). It has a 410 mm double sealing bar over a 520 x 450 x 180 mm chamber, 10 editable user programs, and an absolute vacuum sensor that needs no calibration. It replaces the previous VM18 model.

Standard 10 A plug-in — 1.2 kW is about 5 A, so no electrical work. It is a benchtop machine at 580 x 665 x 509 mm, and the depth of 665 mm is the figure to check against your bench — it is deeper than most benchtop equipment. Leave clearance above for the lid to rise, since it opens automatically at the end of every cycle. Q: What size bag will it seal?

Up to 410 mm wide - that is the sealing bar length. The chamber itself is 520 x 450 x 180 mm, so the bag has to sit within the chamber and its mouth has to lie across the 410 mm bar. The 180 mm chamber height is the limit for anything bulky.

Q: What does the H2Out cycle do, and why does it matter?

It dehumidifies the pump oil. When you vacuum wet or moist food, water vapour is drawn into the oil, and that is what kills vacuum pumps - the oil emulsifies and stops sealing properly. H2Out drives the moisture back out.
