PakMax 6 x 6 Inch Sugarcane Clamshell CS-66 Carton of 500

The PakMax CS-66 is a 6 x 6 inch hinged sugarcane clamshell container, 152 x 152 mm across the top, supplied in a carton of 500. The integrated lid closes over the base in one movement, and the container is recyclable, oil and moisture resistant and finished in natural off-white.

Freight on a light, bulky carton like this is calculated on its cubic volume rather than its gross weight, so the shipping weight shown at checkout is the higher of the two. Store flat and dry.

Q: What is the 44/75 mm height?

That is exactly how the supplier records it, as two figures separated by a slash with no explanation of which is which. We have published it as recorded rather than choosing one. The 8 x 8 inch CS-88 and the 3-compartment CS-883 record the same 44/75 mm and the 9 x 6 inch CS-96 records 46/80 mm. If the exact closed height matters for your bags or shelving, ask our team to confirm it with the supplier.

Q: Is this compostable or recyclable?

The supplier describes this product as recyclable, and that is what we have published. Note that it is a different claim from the one on the PakMax sugarcane food containers in the same range, which the supplier describes as compostable under commercial conditions. Recycling and commercial composting are different waste streams, so we have kept each product's own wording rather than harmonising them. Check which stream your venue and your council actually have before you print an environmental claim of your own.

Q: Is it FSC certified?

The supplier records an FSC certification against this product and we have published it as recorded. FSC certifies forest and plant fibre, so the claim is coherent for a moulded fibre product. We have not seen the certificate ourselves - if you need the certification number for your own compliance or tender documentation, ask our team and we will request it from the supplier.

The Width, Depth and Height recorded against this product match the carton size stated in the supplier description exactly, which is how we can say it with certainty rather than assuming it.
