The PakMax ST-04 is a sugarcane bagasse sushi tray measuring 164 x 89 mm with a 21 mm depth, supplied in a carton of 500. It is the narrow tray in the range - a two to four piece portion - commercially compostable, rigid and moisture resistant, and takes the ST-04-LID clear PET lid, sold separately.

Supplied as a carton of 500. The carton measures 595 x 290 x 175 mm with a gross weight of 5.5 kg. Freight on a light, bulky carton like this is calculated on its cubic volume rather than its gross weight, so the shipping weight shown at checkout is the higher of the two. Store flat and dry.

Q: Which lid fits the ST-04?

The ST-04-LID, sold separately and listed in our PakMax range. The ST-04 tray top is recorded at 164 x 89 mm and the ST-04-LID at 165 x 95 mm. Both are supplied 500 to a carton, so one carton of each pairs up exactly.

Q: Is it compostable or recyclable?

Commercially compostable. Bagasse breaks down in an industrial composting facility, and it resists grease naturally rather than through a plastic lining. Home composting is a different standard and is not claimed. The ST-04-LID is PET plastic and goes to a different waste stream, so a lidded tray is not compostable as a unit.

Q: How does it compare with the ST-08 and ST-15?
