The Prismafood TP-2 is a double-deck electric pizza oven taking 4 + 4 pizzas at 40 cm, or 2 + 2 trays at 40 x 60 cm. It runs from 45 to 450 °C and the two chambers can be set to different temperatures — so you can bake and hold, or run two products at once. Cooking is on a refractory stone sole with rock wool insulation and sheathed heating elements. At 13.8 kW three-phase this is a hard-wired installation.
Why operators choose the TP-2
- Two chambers, separately calibrated — the feature that makes a double deck worth more than two singles: bake at 450 degrees on top and hold or prove at 100 below, at the same time
- 450 degrees C top end — genuine pizza-deck temperature. A 300-degree oven bakes a different, paler product
- Refractory stone sole in both chambers — stone stores heat and releases it into the base of the dough, which is what produces a crisp bottom rather than a soft one
- 4 + 4 pizzas at 40 cm, or 2 + 2 trays at 40 x 60 cm — real batch output, and the tray option means it is not limited to pizza
- Rock wool insulation — it keeps 450 degrees inside the oven rather than in the kitchen, which matters for both energy cost and staff comfort
- Large glass door with internal lighting — you watch the bake without opening the door and dropping the chamber temperature
- Sheathed heating elements — enclosed elements last longer in an oven that thermal-cycles to 450 degrees every day
- EGO thermostatic controls with temperature read-out — a recognised control brand, and you can read the actual chamber temperature rather than a dial position
- Steam generator and digital control available on request — the oven can be specified up rather than replaced later if your product changes

Venue suitability
The TP-2 suits pizzerias, restaurants, clubs and function kitchens producing pizza in volume, and the tray capability extends it to general bakery work. At 172 kg and 1100 mm wide it is a benchtop oven only in name — plan for the optional TP-2-S stand and settle the three-phase supply first.

Installation & delivery
This oven must be hard-wired by a licensed electrician — 400 V three-phase plus neutral at 13.8 kW is well beyond any power point. Our data records no amperage, so your electrician will calculate the circuit from the kW figure. It measures 1100 x 1080 mm and weighs 172 kg, so it needs a bench rated for it or the matching TP-2-S stand, which is optional and ordered separately. Leave clearance around the oven for heat and confirm extraction with your fit-out — a 450 degree deck oven is a significant heat load.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Can the two chambers run at different temperatures?
Yes, and it is the main reason to buy a double deck rather than two singles. The oven allows you to calibrate two separate operating temperatures, so one chamber can bake at full heat while the other holds or works a different product.
Q: How many pizzas does it fit?
Four per chamber at 40 cm diameter, so 4 + 4. Alternatively it takes 2 + 2 trays at 40 x 60 cm, which opens it up to general bakery work.
Q: What electrical supply does it need?
400 V three-phase plus neutral at 13.8 kW, hard-wired by a licensed electrician. Our data does not record an amperage, so your electrician will size the circuit from the kW figure. Settle this before ordering.
Q: Why does a stone sole matter?
Refractory stone stores heat and gives it back into the base of the dough on contact. That is what produces a crisp cooked bottom. A metal deck conducts differently and tends to leave the base pale unless run much hotter.
Q: Is the stand included?
No. The matching TP-2-S stand is optional and ordered separately. Given the oven is 172 kg, it is worth specifying at the same time unless you have a bench rated for it.
Q: What warranty does the TP-2 come with?
Covered for 2 years on parts and labour. Terms vary by product — see our warranty information page for full details.
