Simcohood DH1500-850D Ductless Exhaust Hood System 1500mm

The Simcohood DH1500-850D is a ductless (recirculating) exhaust hood system, 1500 mm wide x 850 mm deep x 1400 mm high with a 620 mm bench height. It filters cooking fumes and returns the air to the room, so no duct to the outside is needed - and it is made for electric appliances only, up to 8 kW each, 3 or 4 of them under the canopy.

Venue suitability

Ductless extraction suits sites where a ducted canopy cannot go: leased premises that will not allow a roof penetration, food courts, shopping-centre tenancies, office canteens and kiosks running an all-electric line. Installation & delivery

The DH1500-850D arrives on its legs and castors with all filters fitted. Before ordering, confirm that every appliance going under it is electric and rated at no more than 8 kW, and that the overall 1500 x 850 x 1400 mm unit fits the space. Budget for filter changes as a running cost: the polyester filter every 8-12 weeks and the carbon filter every 12 months. Check with your local council or building manager whether recirculating extraction is accepted for your cooking.
