The GN3100DT is a 3-door dual-temperature gastronorm counter cabinet giving you 314 L of refrigeration and 124 L of freezer in a single 1795 mm workbench body. The refrigeration side is more than twice the freezer, which is the split most kitchens actually want. Each side has its own cooling system, and the freezer compartment converts to refrigeration at the touch of a button. It runs on a standard 240 V 10 A outlet.

Why operators choose the GN3100DT

  • 314 L refrigeration and 124 L freezer - a deliberately uneven split - roughly 2.5 times more chilled than frozen, which suits a kitchen doing daily prep with a smaller frozen holding requirement
  • Dual cooling system - the fridge and freezer sides run independently, so one is not compromised to hold the other - which is what separates a genuine dual-temperature cabinet from a single system with a divider
  • Freezer compartment is convertible at the touch of a button - the freezer side can be switched to run as refrigeration, so the cabinet follows a menu change rather than dictating one
  • R290 natural refrigerant, HFC-free and CFC-free - a low-GWP hydrocarbon refrigerant, which is where AU commercial refrigeration has been heading on environmental compliance
  • Electronic thermostat with digital LED display - the actual temperature is readable at a glance, which is what makes a food-safety record keepable
  • 60 mm insulation - thicker insulation is why the cabinet holds temperature at a 40 degrees C ambient
  • Ventilated refrigeration compartment - fan-forced air circulation for even temperature through the cabinet
  • Auto defrost with auto evaporation of condensate - no drain tray to empty and no manual defrost cycle
  • Stainless steel inside and out, rounded internal edges - rounded corners are what make the interior actually cleanable rather than merely wipeable
  • Self-closing doors, tool-free replaceable magnetic gaskets - gaskets are the usual first failure on a bench fridge - being able to change one without tools keeps the cabinet sealed
  • Heated door frame - a concealed element in the frame eliminates condensation around the door seal
  • Takes GN 1/1 pans - standard gastronorm, so it fits the pans the rest of the kitchen already uses
  • Doors convertible to drawers - the refrigerator side takes a set of 2 drawers, the freezer side a set of 2 or 3

Venue suitability

The GN3100DT suits busy restaurant and hotel lines, cafes and QSR kitchens that need a lot of chilled prep at the bench with a smaller frozen holding requirement. If you need chilled and frozen in equal measure, the 2-door GN2100DT splits its capacity evenly at 124 L each.

Installation & delivery

Runs from a standard 240 V 10 A outlet at 480 W - no dedicated circuit required. It is rated to a 40 degrees C ambient at 40% RH. It is 1795 mm wide and 860 mm high. Please confirm the depth with our team before planning a bench run - our supplier record for this model is inconsistent and we would rather tell you that than publish a figure you might build to. See the FAQ below.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Why does this page not state a depth?

Because our supplier record for it is not reliable and we will not guess. The source records 600 mm, but this cabinet has an internal depth of 580 mm and 60 mm of insulation, which implies about 700 mm - and 700 mm is exactly what its 2-door sibling GN2100DT records with the same 580 mm internal depth. A 600 mm external depth would leave 10 mm per side. Rather than publish 600 mm, which could have you build a bench run 100 mm short, or publish 700 mm, which we cannot confirm, we have left it out. Contact our team and we will confirm it with the supplier.

Q: Why are the packed dimensions not listed?

Same reason. The recorded carton is 1390 x 730 x 910 mm, which is 405 mm narrower than the cabinet's own 1795 mm width - it is the carton recorded for the 2-door GN2100DT. We have left it out rather than publish a figure that cannot be right. Ask us and we will confirm the real shipping dimensions.

Q: How is the capacity split between fridge and freezer?

314 L of refrigeration and 124 L of freezer. The refrigeration compartment measures 795 x 580 x 560 mm and the freezer 360 x 580 x 560 mm. If you want an even split, the 2-door GN2100DT gives 124 L on each side.

Q: What does dual-temperature actually mean here?

The cabinet runs two independent cooling systems - one refrigerating, one freezing - in a single benchtop body. That is different from a single system split by a divider, where holding the freezer side down compromises the fridge side. Here each side is controlled separately.

Q: Can I change the freezer side to a fridge?

Yes. The freezer compartment is fridge/freezer convertible at the touch of a button, so the cabinet can follow a seasonal or menu change rather than being fixed at purchase.

Q: What refrigerant does it use?

R290, a natural hydrocarbon refrigerant that is HFC-free and CFC-free. It has a very low global warming potential, which is why AU commercial refrigeration has been moving to it.
