The Thermaster WB-51A is a single-zone wine cooler holding up to 51 bottles across six beech wood shelves, with a 5 to 22C range that covers everything from a chilled white through to red serving temperature. Fan-forced evaporator cooling and a thermostatic cabinet hold the setting evenly, behind a double-glazed, self-closing lockable door with energy-saving lighting.
Why operators choose the WB-51A
- 5 to 22C single-zone range — wide enough to hold whites, reds or a cellar temperature — you choose the zone rather than being locked to one
- Up to 51 bottles across six beech shelves — five full shelves plus a half shelf; beech is the traditional cellar material and does not taint
- Fan-forced evaporator cooling — circulates the air so the top and bottom of the cabinet sit at the same temperature — the failure mode of cheap wine fridges
- Double-glazed door — cuts heat gain and condensation, which is what lets a glass-door cooler hold a steady temperature
- Self-closing lockable door — closes itself if someone leaves it, and locks in a public-facing room
- Energy-saving lighting — displays the bottles without adding heat to the cabinet
- Digital temperature control and read-out — set it and see it rather than trusting a dial
- Auto defrost and adjustable feet — no manual defrost to schedule, and it levels on an uneven floor

Venue suitability
The WB-51A suits restaurants, wine bars, hotels, clubs and function rooms presenting wine by the bottle. At 820 mm high and 595 mm wide it fits under a counter or stands alone; note the 10 to 32C ambient range, which is the figure to check if it will sit near a kitchen line rather than in a cooler room.

Installation & delivery
It runs from a standard 240 V, 10 A outlet, so no dedicated circuit or electrician is needed. It is specified for a 10 to 32C ambient, so keep it away from a cooking line, direct sun or a heat source — a wine cooler working outside its ambient range will not hold its set temperature. Allow clearance for airflow and level it on the adjustable feet. Dispatched from our Sydney HQ with partner warehouses in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth for faster delivery Australia-wide. Backed by a 2-year parts and labour warranty, plus a further 2 years parts only when the product is registered within 14 days of invoice — see our warranty information page for full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Q: How many bottles does the WB-51A hold? A: Up to 51, depending on bottle size and shape, across six beech wood shelves — five full shelves and one half shelf.
Q: Is it single or dual zone? A: Single zone. You set one temperature between 5 and 22C for the whole cabinet, which covers chilled whites through to red serving temperature but not both at once.
Q: Where should it not be installed? A: Anywhere outside its 10 to 32C ambient range — so not beside a cooking line, in direct sun or next to a heat source. Outside that band it will struggle to hold the set temperature.
Q: Why beech wood shelving? A: Beech is the traditional cellar shelving material: it is stable, does not taint the wine and cradles bottles without the point loading of a wire shelf.
Q: Does the door lock? A: Yes, and it is self-closing — useful in a dining room or function space where it is left unattended.
Q: What warranty applies? A: Two years parts and labour, plus a further two years parts only if you register the product within 14 days of invoice.
