Vacuum Bags 250 x 350 mm Pack of 200 VB2535

The VB2535 is a 250 x 350 mm vacuum bag supplied 200 to a pack, for use with a chamber vacuum sealer. Bag size is the real constraint on a vacuum sealer - the product plus a clear seal margin has to fit inside the bag, and the bag has to lie flat inside the chamber with its open end across the seal bar. Q: Why does the width on this page differ from the supplier specification column?

Our supplier's data feed records a 200 mm width in its specification column, which disagrees with three other things in the same feed: its own product description (250 x 350 mm), its packed width (250 mm), and the product code - VB2535 encodes 25 x 35 cm. We publish the width those three agree on, and we have asked the supplier to correct the column.

Q: How much clear bag do I need above the product?

Roughly 30-50 mm of clear film between the top of the product and the seal bar. Any product, moisture or fat sitting across the seal line gives you a weak seal that opens in storage.

Q: Will these work in a non-chamber vacuum sealer?

These are made for chamber machines. External suction sealers generally need embossed or channelled bags so the air has a path out of the bag. Check your machine before ordering.

Q: How many bags are in a pack?

Two hundred. That is the supplied pack quantity for this size.
