The Yasaki ZJ-VM400B2 is a bench top chamber vacuum packing machine with two 400 mm seal bars, a 20 m3/h vacuum pump and a 280 x 380 x 75 mm stainless steel chamber. Cycle time is 10 to 30 seconds and it runs from a standard 10 A outlet. Vacuum bags are not included.

Installation & delivery

It runs from a standard 10 A power point, so no electrical work is required. At 70 kg it is a two-person lift onto a bench. Allow clearance above for the lid to open fully, and order vacuum bags to suit the 280 x 380 mm chamber before the machine arrives.

Q: What size bags will the ZJ-VM400B2 take?

The chamber is 280 x 380 x 75 mm and the seal bars are 400 mm long, so bags must fit inside that chamber. Bags are not included.

Q: Why choose a chamber machine over an external sealer?

A chamber machine evacuates the whole chamber rather than drawing air out of the bag, so it handles liquids and soft product without pulling them into the pump. That is why chamber machines are standard for butchery and sous-vide.
