The Anvil BBZ0200 is a two-door glass back bar fridge holding 315 litres across a 1460 mm run of bar. It arrives on removable castors at 900 mm high; fitting legs instead brings it to 860 mm if it has to tuck under a bar top. Power is a standard 240 V single-phase outlet at 0.24 kW. The condenser filter is reachable from the front, so routine cleaning does not mean pulling the cabinet out. Q: Will it fit under a standard bar top?

It stands 900 mm high on the castors it ships with. Legs are available that bring it down to 860 mm, which is what makes an under-bar fit possible. Bar heights vary, so measure your own opening against 860 mm before ordering rather than assuming it clears.

Q: How cold does it hold and in what sort of room?

2 to 8 degrees C, with a 38 degrees C ambient rating. That ambient figure is the useful one: it is the room temperature the cabinet is rated to keep working in, which behind a bar in summer is doing real work.

Q: What is the difference between the two, three and four door models?

Door count and width only - the cabinet depth, height, temperature range, ambient rating, refrigerant, shelving and warranty are identical across all three. Capacity per millimetre of bar frontage does improve as the cabinet gets wider, from 0.22 L/mm on the two-door to 0.26 L/mm on the four-door.

Q: Does it need a dedicated circuit?

No. It draws 0.24 kW at 240 V, roughly 1.0 A, against a recorded 10 A supply. It runs from a standard single-phase outlet. As with any refrigeration, we would not have it sharing a circuit with other heavy loads.

Q: What refrigerant does it use?

R290. It is a hydrocarbon refrigerant with a very low global warming potential, which is why it has largely replaced older gases in cabinets this size. Your refrigeration mechanic should be told which gas is in the unit before any service work.

Q: Can the doors be hinged the other way, and do they lock?

Yes to both. The glass doors are fully reversible and self-closing, and locks are fitted as standard rather than being an option.
