The BakerMax EP-2T/15 is a compact countertop double-deck electric pizza oven with a ceramic hearth and a 400 x 400 mm stone, running from 50 to 350 °C. It has a 60-minute timer with a bell, a temperature-reach indicator light, a viewing window and internal lighting, in a stainless steel structure only 580 mm wide. It needs a 15 A supply.
Why operators choose the EP-2T/15
- Ceramic hearth, not a metal deck — stone holds and releases heat into the base of the dough, which is what gives a crisp bottom rather than a pale one - the single biggest difference between a pizza oven and a general oven
- Double deck in a 580 mm wide countertop unit — two decks of output from a footprint that fits on a bench, where most double-deck ovens are floor units
- 50 to 350 degrees C — hot enough for a proper pizza bake and low enough to be useful for other work
- Temperature-reach indicator light — you know when it is actually at temperature instead of guessing from the timer
- 60-minute timer with a bell — an audible timer matters on a bench oven that sits below eye level
- Viewing window and internal lighting — you can watch the bake without opening the door and dropping the cavity temperature
- Drop-down door — opens down and out of the way rather than swinging into the operator's space
- Bakelite handle and rubber feet — the handle stays cool enough to grip and the feet stop the oven walking on a bench
- Stainless steel structure — survives the heat cycling and the wipe-downs

Venue suitability
The EP-2T/15 suits cafes, small pizzerias, clubs, food trucks and function kitchens adding pizza without committing floor space to a deck oven. At 580 mm wide and 33 kg it is a genuine countertop unit; the constraint to settle first is the 15 A supply.

Installation & delivery
It needs a 15 A supply. A 15 A plug has a larger earth pin and will not fit a standard 10 A socket, so confirm the circuit or budget for an electrician. It stands 435 mm high and 561 mm deep, so check the bench depth and any shelf above. Leave clearance around the oven for heat, and clearance in front for the drop-down door. At 33 kg it is a one or two-person lift.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Why does a ceramic hearth matter for pizza?
Stone stores heat and gives it back into the base of the dough on contact. That is what produces a crisp, cooked bottom. A metal deck conducts differently and tends to leave the base pale unless you run the oven much hotter.
Q: Will the EP-2T/15 run from a standard power point?
No. At 3 kW it needs a 15 A supply. A 15 A plug has a larger earth pin and will not fit a standard 10 A socket, so confirm the circuit or budget for an electrician.
Q: What size pizza will it take?
The stone is 400 x 400 mm inside a 410 x 420 x 120 mm cavity, so it suits bases up to around 400 mm.
Q: Is the cavity figure per deck or for both decks together?
Our product data records a single cavity figure of 410 x 420 x 120 mm and a single 400 x 400 mm stone size for this double-deck oven, without stating whether both decks are identical. They almost certainly are, but rather than assume it we would rather you asked our team to confirm before ordering.
Q: How hot does it get?
50 to 350 degrees C, with analogue control and an indicator light that tells you when it has reached temperature.
Q: What warranty does the EP-2T/15 come with?
Covered for 2 years on parts and labour. Terms vary by product — see our warranty information page for full details.
