The Hamilton Beach HMD0400 is a three-spindle commercial milkshake mixer for milkshakes, malts and mixed drinks made to order at the counter. Each of the three spindles runs on its own 0.3 kW motor, so one operator builds three drinks at once, and three stainless cups are supplied.
Why operators choose the HMD0400
- Three independent motors, not one motor driving three spindles — each spindle has its own 0.3 kW motor, so loading one does not slow the others and a failure takes out one station rather than the machine.
- Three speeds plus pulse — speed is what sets aeration. A thick malt and a thin milkshake are not the same job, and pulse is how you fold in a topping without whipping it to foam.
- Sealed, permanently lubricated bearings — nothing to grease and nothing to schedule. On a machine that runs wet all day, sealed bearings are the difference between low maintenance and a service call.
- Three stainless cups supplied — all three come with the machine, so the whole station works from the moment it lands.
- The pair covers two volumes — the HMD0200 is the other build - a single spindle for a counter that makes shakes occasionally.
